i'm popping over to let you know that i've nominated you for the 'Versatile Blogger' award - the details about it are over on my blog. You don't have to do anything (although if you fancy it you can join in :)), i just wanted to put your lovely blog on my list! x

  2. Working on *any* knitted project must be a joy when you make your own yarn! As it is, I have a difficult enough time decided what yarn to start any project with... :-)

    1. Syd that's probably true, but I don't spin my yarn. I have a hard time picking out yarn for my projects as well. And my stash never seems to have the right yarn :-).

  3. I am not really big on lace knitting, so I really like this design - lace and other design elements around the edge, with a plain body.

    1. Actually I was like that, until I started knitting lace. Then I realized I didn't like wearing lace but I do like knitting lace. So I knit them as gifts. And just like you, I only like to wear shawls/shawlettes with lacy borders and a stockinette or garter body. I do like lacy scarves though.

  4. I made an Abyssal months ago in black but this yarn of yours is really nice. I love lace but not too much lacey. Abyssal, Saroyan and Annis are by far my favorites.
