January Giveaway and my current WIP

I'm back with a brand new giveaway for January and my current Work-In-Progress!

I finally could get pictures of the Maluka I'm knitting with a skein of Maharaja silk yarn in my stash! I lllove it all, the yarn, the pattern, this yarn with this pattern. The way the yarn is spun it doesn't snag on the needles. So it's better than any lace weight I've used. It's a great simple pattern and a very quick knit. I've started the short row shaping and since that part is stockinette it's going real fast. I should be done with it tonight.


And now for the giveaway - a skein of banana silk yarn in a color of your choice! Check out my store to pick your favorite color. This yarn is very soft and an absolute joy to work with. Banana silk yarn is made from banana fibres and can be used to make bags, hats, scarves or shawls. It is slightly softer than recycled sari silk yarn and has the sheen and lustre of silk, so it is a great substitute for silk. The yardage is similar to the recycled sari silk yarn, around 80-90 yards for every 100 gm skein and I have these in these lovely shades.
