Amber Threads is open!

My store is finally up at http://amberthreads.etsy.com! So what better way to celebrate than with a giveaway. I have a new stock of solid colored recycled sari silk yarn and I'm giving away one skein to one person in a color of their choice

Aren't they vibrant? They knit up into beautiful bags, scarves, clutches, pouches and whatever else you can think of. Here's a picture (an over-exposed one) of them glistening in the sun.

What you need to do is
1. Like my page on facebook at http://facebook.com/amberthreads (there's also a like button at the top of this page)
2. Leave a comment here telling me what you would knit up with this yarn.
3. A bonus entry (your name will be entered once more) if you become a follower here.

The deadline to do this is Oct 30th 2011 Midnight PST. All names will be entered in a draw and the winner will be picked (via a random number generator) on Oct 31st and notified by email! So make sure there's a way for me to get back to you.

And keep watching this space for more giveaways coming your way!

  6. Your yarn looks amazing... I haven't tried any like it before so I'd love to try it in the red colourway (actually any of the colourways as they all look fab :) I'd be tempted to knit a small bag with it :-) I've liked you on fb and I'm @SockYarnShop on twitter.

  11. @Pip thank you for the like! Recycled silk yarn is really fun to knit with because of the texture and in my opinion accessories are the way to go with it.
